zac update

In regards to this recent blog on zacsunderland.com Oct 26, 09: "Regarding the documentary DVD...we will be sending out an update to everyone who pre-purchased the DVD informing you all of what has been going on and our different options at this point. If you don't receive an email by Wednesday of next week, please contact us at..."
We too are waiting to hear what is going on; for whatever reason in the very final stages of creating the first video we were shut out and have had no contact what-so-ever with the Sunderlands. We choose not to speculate as we are as much in the dark as everyone at this time.
But I must say we are extremely anxious to hear what is happening as we dedicated the last year of not only our personal lives but our companies assets to this journey.
Our goal was always to help and support Zac on this venture.
We are great admirers of Zac, and have been constant supporters, but we are truly flummoxed by this current situation.

  1. I sent this to Zac blog but knowing it won't get published i wanted to put it here. I think your getting a raw deal.

Anon- I’m a lawyer. Here is what I see going on, we have all followed the Sunderland story and like everyone allowed to post here I am filled with admiration for Zac.

The Sunderlands have worked with two production companies now going on a third with two being dismissed. Ok one I can see, people have problems, but, two, after, signing with a power house like William Morris? I have to assume the Sunderlands got a better offer.

According to the PU blog they are completely in the dark as to what is going on. Assuming what PU is saying is true.

    Praxis Oct 26 says-

This makes me think possibly the Sunderlands are attempting to break their contractual agreement.

Whether you have paid for a service or formed a partnership both parties have a legal obligation to fulfill that agreement.

In rereading the blogs the problems seemed to come up right after signing with William Morris. prior to that the relationship was good.

It is not a good sign when someone has dropped two contractors to suddenly go with a third directly after signing with a major company like WM and which excludes your current business partners.

I have nothing but admiration for you Zac, just be careful you had a very good relationship in your blogs with Praxis Universal until you signed with William Morris then the blogs show a significant change of attitude.

One of life’s important lessons in business is to honor your agreements and if there is problems work them out in a responsible way, don't cast them aside.

Jumping to the next best thing always ends up costing you more than you thought.
I assume this won't get published but it is good advice.

    Good luck with your life
